The smoothie bowl is a great post workout snack. It is packed with 35 grams of protein and 70 grams of carbs (all from fruit/juice), which is an optimal combo for a post workout meal or snack (2:1 ratio of carbs to protein).
Ingredients
1/2 banana
1 cup strawberries
1 frozen acai packet
8 oz orange juice
1.25 scoops of vanilla protein powder
Directions
In a blender, blend all of the ingredients together until smooth.
Freeze for 8+ hours.
Run a Ninja Cremi cycle on "milkshake" and re-spin 1-2 times.
